British Association of Landscape Industries ROLO Supervisor REFRESHER Course 

This course consists of a blended learning approach set out over one and a half days (half a day online independent pre-learning and 1 day face to face). Designed by those already holding a Supervisor Health and Safety qualification - ROLO Supervisor or SSSTS and can be used for a LISS card application (subject to meeting the LISS criteria). 

The course is equivalent to the CITB SSSTS and fully endorsed by both Build UK and the CITB and designed specifically for supervisors working in Landscaping, Arboriculture, Amenity Maintenance and Ecology based industry sectors.

Number of candidates per course: 12

Blended learning 1/2 day online self study, 1 day face to face in the allocated training room.

This course is assessed through an end of unit multiple choice paper, verbal presentation, and group work. This is a blended learning course. For those who do not already have a ROLO-online account:

  • On receiving these joining instructions, candidates should register on www.rolo-online.org.uk.Please note that there have been some issues with gmail accounts. If there is a delay of more than 24 hours in receiving your confirmation email, please contact us directly.
  • You will receive a confirmation/validation email through to your email account. Please follow the link to verify your registration.
  • If there are any issues with gmail please contact [email protected] immediately for further instructions.
  • Once registered, please email [email protected] to confirm that you have registered.
  • We will then email you to confirm that you have successfully registered for the course. You can then access the online e-learning element.

All candidates must have completed this prior to the course starting. It is a pre-requisite that candidates have completed all end of unit tests and the final mock assessment. It is anticipated that his should take between 3-6 hours dependent on experience. VMT offer a face to face half day session to support this.

Please note, if pre-learning has not been completed, you will not be able to undertake your face-to-face learning and will lose your place on the course.
