What a great way to bring a team of friends or work pals together on our Introduction to Climbing Day. You get to spend a day in the woods with our experienced instructor, who will teach you the basics of how to climb a tree, what equipment is needed as well as having the chance to have a go at climbing yourself. This is a 1 day training session for a maximum of 4 people, you all get the chance to experience the chance to climb, you will enjoy a lunch in the woods and will receive a certificate of attendance from VMT. Lots of fun, learning and time to spend outdoors and enjoy going back to nature, and you may even get to the top of a tree.

Description

This day course will give you an introdution to what is involved in climbing trees.   

You will gain knowledge on the safety and techniques needed for basic tree climbing.  

Worth noting: As there are physical elements to our course, you'll need to have some level of fitness.

Not reccommended for pregnant ladies, people with ongoing or reaccuring back or shoulder ailments or people who are scared of heights.

Any on going medical conditions must be declared at point of booking.

Course Specific Notes

Important Information:

Non transferable and non refundable past the point of booking.

Joining instructions will be sent to the booker  7 - 14 days before your event date.

Food allergies are to be provided by the booker before the event date so lunch requirements can be arranged.

Some PPE will be needed to take part in the day, this will be sent with your joining instructions.

Climbing Kits are provided by VMT.

We have various training locations in Northamptonshire that we can run your perfect day.
